Recent Stock Purchase III – September 2016

I added positions in 3 existing companies in third week of September. I plan to keep adding these dividend growth stocks to grow my passive dividend income to a point where all my expenses are covered by passive income generated by them.

Below are the companies where I put my capital on towards my race for earning $3000 per month in 3000 days. Last month, I completed 480 days of my freedom race and it was nice to have crossed $1500 in passive income for the first time this year. Without further ado:

1) Dow Chemicals, Co. (DOW): 5 positions at $53.02 on 9/19
2) Flower Foods, Inc. (FLO): 10 positions at $15.52 on 9/19
3) Potash Corp. of Sask. (POT): 10 positions at $16.06 on 9/19

Due to addition of new companies over last several months, total number is 95 wonderful companies in my portfolio.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks.

    • Hi MDP,

Appreciate the kind words. Ha! I’d set my short term target of 70-90 companies and I achieved it sometime back. I feel comfortable with this number, however, I won’t mind adding few more and if it crosses 3 digit barrier in the process, so, be it 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • Hi DM,

Thank you. I like FLO and POT and would be happy to add more if prices were to drop a bit more. As Warren says: buy it when there is blood on the street and I see that in FLO 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • Hi Lanny,

Thank you. Yeah, I’m trying hard to keep adding a little bit here and there. Slow and steady 🙂 You are doing fantastic over there, keep up the good work. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • Hi Bert,

I like DOW a lot, but, I felt the price has been high, bite the bullet and bought it, though getting a little scared with market being so frothy and almost in bubble territory. Thanks for stopping by as always.

    • Hi ED,

I’m trying hard to add the dough, nibbling a little here. I’ve not added, but, its easy to do so: proof of the pudding will be known in next passive income report. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
