Recent Stock Purchase II – October 2016

I added positions in 3 existing companies in fourth week of October. I plan to keep adding these dividend growth stocks to grow my passive dividend income to a point where all my expenses are covered by passive income generated by them.

Below are the companies where I put my capital on towards my race for earning $3000 per month in 3000 days. Last month, I completed 51days of my freedom race and it was nice to have crossed $1500 in passive income for the second time this year. Without further ado:

1) Bank of Nova-Scotia (BNS): 5 positions at $53.62 on 10/24
2) ConocoPhillips (COP): 5 positions at $41.38 on 10/26
3) GlaxoSmithKline (GSK): 5 positions at $36.69 on 10/26

Due to addition of new companies over last several months, total number is 95 great companies in my portfolio.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks.

    • Hi Lanny,

Could not agree more, every little here and little there matters in long run and I try to nibble some every week, if possible to keep chugging along, although its tough especially with market froth right now. Thanks for stopping by and comments.

  1. As always, I like that BNS pick up. I would like to add to my Canadian banks but they are still big positions relative to my other holdings. Unless BNS really drops a lot I’ll have to wait to pick up that name. I can afford some RY. Any room for RY or TD in your mix?

    • Hi DH,

BNS is one of my top choice along with RY and TD, would not mind adding these. I agree that price for BNS has run up quite a bit in recent times and holding some fire on it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
