Dividend Income Update – July 2017

I’ve completed 810 days of freedom race and it has been awesome so far. I’m truly blessed to be posting it from the country where Statue of Liberty stands. It stands for freedom and I hope to achieve my own financial freedom in 3000 days when I complete my race.

I crossed figure of $1500 in passive income last month. Due to several sales made over last several months, my dividend income will be lowered some. Still, I’m excited to write about my passive dividend checks that I received in month of July. They come into my account like a clockwork without lifting any fingers. So far, I’ve got 34 fantastic companies in my Portfolio

I hope that this passive income report provides inspiration to all the readers out there that even when you are starting out fresh, you can still do it. Although, it is a long race: slow and steady, we can win it on our terms and time. Without further ado, here are dividends received:

Total passive dividend income for July: $1674.49.

Instead of getting a single salary once a month, I got paid by above companies throughout the month, simply by owning a tiny sliver of a slice. Imagine that there are thousands of people hired by those companies and that they are working for you, rather than, you working for them. This feeling of achieving financial freedom over 3000 days, is what drives me to keep racing and I’m sure readers alike!

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks.

Recent Stock Purchase – May 2016

I added positions in 1 existing company in last week of May. After heavy selling over last few months, this is my first purchase in a while: a welcome change. Stock market is still at peak levels and that makes it difficult to find good values in such an environment. But, as they say, show must go on, rain or shine.

Below is the company where I put my capital on towards my race for earning $3000 per month in 3000 days. Last month, I completed 720 days of my freedom race and it was fantastic to have crossed $2000 in passive income. Without further ado:

1) Ventas Inc. (VTR): 5 positions at $66.56 on 5/30

Due to sale of many companies over last several weeks, total count of companies is down in my portfolio. Also, passive income will be down but start stabilizing in next few months.
